Campisis
In 1946, Campisi’s Egyptian Restaurant introduced pizza to Dallas. It’s also known for its connections to organized crime: the night before President Kennedy was assassinated, Jack Ruby dined at the very same restaurant that stands today. Campisi’s is now owned and operated by third and fourth generation family members, and customers continue to come back to dine on their famous peperoni pizza and homemade spaghetti pasta and meatballs.
