1960 Scollay Square, Boston no.1

C. 1960 photograph taken from Court Street depicting what was once a part of Scollay Square in the city of Boston. Now known as Government Center, work on the demolition of the West End was underway when this photo was taken. On the right, the ' Pilgrim Lounge ' is seen as well as the famous Giant Tea Kettle at the corner of Court and Tremont streets.
