Doll haul for dolls!
I made 10 different miniature doll boxes to add to Euro Auntie's collection.
I think that the 3D- illusion of a doll inside is quite good. Original boxes were all in quite poor shape, as almost all of them are vintage ( except Happy Family& Kebaya Barbie) and very shabby, so these miniatures look more or less shabby too.
These are not difficult to do, if you have printer at home. Just photograph your doll boxes from every side, then scale them into right size and print. Then it's only folding and glueing. Of course some types of boxes are more challenging- I chose the easiest ones as a starter. Will try FR- box in the future for sure!
I guess nothing stops one to try to make a miniature doll in to box as well, if you are familiar with fimo and such materials. I'm too lazy( and too bad eyes unfortunately) for that.
These are fun and I love the idea that my dolls can have the same dolls that I have, LOL!
ATTENTION! If some of you have miniatures like this made of your dolls, I'd be willing to exchange! Most of my dolls with boxes are vintage dolls from early 70's so I can only make minis of that era but I'd like Euro Auntie to have miniatures of other eras too- so this would be a nice trade! If you find this a nice idea and have mini- doll boxes and are willing to exchange- let me know!
