Kostel Svatého Mikuláše, Malá Strana, Praha, Hlavní Město Praha, Česká Republika
This is the Kostel Svatého Mikuláše, or St. Nicholas Church, located in Malá Strana (Lesser Quarter) in Prague. Constructed between 1704 and 1755, the church was built in the Baroque style, and was designed by Bavarian architect Christoph Dientzenhofer. Widely considered the most impressive example of Baroque architecture in Prague, the church replaced an earlier Gothic church on the same site, built in the 1200s. Towering high over Mala Strana, the church has a large dome and tall campanile, which are visible from quite some distance.
