Hemerocallis 'Delta Force' 23W26 Daylily G3- (Gossard, 2004) Semi-Tall Purple Daylily , Mature plant size: 38in., PURPLE, 8.5in. pinched lavender purple flower with a green throat and dark purple eye, USDA Hardiness Zone 4, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW26, In Garden Bed G3 for 3.8 YEARS (Casshigh). Planted in 2019.
Gossard, James: 2004 introduction (Heavenly Island Magic x (Moonlit masquerade x Boney Maroney) Tet 8 ½" Dormant 38" Early. Delta Force is an unusual form pinched lavender purple 8 ½” flower with a nice green throat and dark purple eye. Flowers carry on the early bloom genetics of its pod parent Heavenly Island Magic. The pollen parent was a dormant pink sib to Shake The Mountains. Held back for an extra year because it is such an easy pod parent in full sun. Will take even the most difficult pollen. Flowers have 3-4 way branching with 22-bud count. Brings new dormant early bloom genetics into the unusual forms.
