1957 Ford Custom 2 Door Ontario Provincial Police in Grand Bend
This photo was taken in Grand Bend Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron during the Summer of 1958. The police issued 1957 Ford Custom 2 Door was used by the Ontario Provincial Police as a patrol vehicle for the large population of tourists who visit the area during their vacations. Taken behind the Red Gables home the officer was given a cabin here for the summer to stay during off hours. I am entertaining my kid brother while using it as an excuse to watch the girls go by.
