Mosaic Hawk

Mosaic hawk, wingspan about 70 cm.

 

I was make this completely "Pique-assiette, " but the gold patterned saucer in his tail was so shiny that I had to add to other locations some glitter as well for the balance.

As a beginner in making mosaics I was surprised how this bird change color in the garden throughout the day according to the sun. Occasionally, it shows only gray with a red ribbon and rest of the sunny day it sparkles between the different points.
