Cinque Terra 2

This was another photo from Cinque Terra.

 

First I cropped the full sized image to make it narrower.

 

I took another picture of myself from a different photo and deleted the background, resized the image, then copied and pasted it into the first photo in a new layer.

 

I took a copy of myself sitting on the rock and pasted it into a new canvas so I could remove the background.

 

I removed the original figure on the rock using the stamp tool and replaced it with the new image in a new layer.

 

I adjusted the opacity on both figures so they appeared to be transparent and blurred the images.

 

I added the Angled Strokes filter to the background, adjusting the stroke length and direction balance.

 

Finally, I smudged the images of the two figures in the same direction as the Angled Strokes filter.
