The secret cave...
This was a location I had seen a few times on Flickr and wanted to try and get my own take on it while over in Canada last year.
What the images I saw before we went didn't convey, was the shear scale of the place.
Without something or someone to measure it against it doesn't really look that big.
What I didn't count on was just how difficult it was to shoot a usable image here. The massive dynamic range between inside the cave and the bright sunny day made it a challenge even with bracketing my shots.
Unfortunately I can't just nip back to try again at a time when the light might be easier to control, but maybe one day I will get another chance.
