Black Widow Spider, south Georgia, USA
I think this is a Black Widow. I would appreciate a correction or verification.
It matches the description of a black widow spider. It even had tan egg sacks which match those of a black widow.
I found it in a storage room on an old dresser which I pulled out to give to Goodwill. Photo is taken on the bottom of the dresser (I was kind-of rolling it to move it). I tried to get the spider onto an old book to put it back into the storage room, but it jumped off into the grass and I couldn't find it. The egg sacks were also on the bottom of the dresser.
In Valdosta, Georgia, USA on 30 August 2012.
This is only the second Black Widow spider which I have found.
