1970 Ford XW Falcon GT Sedan

The XW Falcon was built from June 1969- October 1970. The GTs engine size was increased to 351 cu in, it got more in your face styling with bolder stripes, hood scoop and blacked out bonnet, the HOs got a front spoiler.
June 1969; 351 Windsor GT, 290bhp (450 cfm carb)
June 1969; GTHO Phase 1; 300bhp (600 cfm carb, alloy inlet man, hydraulic lifters) 260 made
Jan 1970; Now Cleveland 351
March 1970; GTHO Phase 1 1/2; standard 351 Cleveland but Phase 1 suspension etc. 115 made,
May 1970; 12 slot rims changed to 5 slot
June 1970; GTHO Phase 2; 750 cfm carb, solid camshaft, lifters, bigger pushrods, close ratio gearbox. 287 made
The XW didn’t win the big race in 1969, but did in 1970 with Allan Moffat at the wheel.
2287 XW GT and 662 XW GTHO Falcons were made
