A convertible was available for the first time as well as 2 and 4 door Hardtops and 4 door Sedan. It featured a 'biplane' front bumper and a full-width egg crate grille. Tall tailfins, gunsight taillights downward tapering decklid. Early in the year, they had single headlamps, quad headlamps were optional where state regulations permitted them. Single headlamps dropped later in the year.
