In 1949, the unique to Buick, 'Ventiports' were introduced, four on the Roadmaster and three on the other models.
The 1950 Buick’s unique grille with bars continuing down in front of the bumper, was replaced in 1951, with more of a 49 look, but a stepped down bumper and scrolled 'Buick Eight' instead of block letters' in grille surround. The 1952 Buick similar to the 51.
