The Model T Ford was built in the US from 1908-1927, the first mass produced car, built on the first production line, with this increased efficiency, costs were kept very low.
The Model T slowly developed over its production life; Early cars, the 1909-14 T1 had a flat top hood, flat cowl below the screen, from 1913, they had the dog leg windscreen. In 1915, the T2 update had louvres added to the hood, the flat cowl below the screen was now contoured, the old gas lights were now electric.
