The first generation Mustang was built from 1964-73. 1968 was a mild facelift; safety laws required side markers and padded steering wheel.
Fastback, Hardtop or Convertible.
GT package; V8, driving lights, side C stripes and disc brakes. The Cobra Jet was a GT with the 428 V8, Ramair hood scoop and black hood stripe
Deluxe Interior Package, woodgrain dash and door trims.
Other options were air con, upper and lower consoles, turn signal hood, the styled steel wheel option were now a 12 slot design.
Two Limited Edition Coupes; the California Special and the High Country Special
Shelby American built performance versions of the Mustang; 302 GT350 and 428 GT500.
