Pickin' Up in the Pines May 2022
In partnership with the National Forest Foundation, Oak Creek Watershed Council and Arizona Game & Fish, this volunteer group came together on 5/25/22 to clean up dispersed camping at the headwaters of Oak Creek. The team worked together to collect an entire dumptruck's-worth of trash in about three hours.
This area, off FR 237, is an extremely important dispersed camping area because it sits at the headwaters of Oak Creek, an invaluable watershed throughout Sedona and the Verde Valley.
