With a growing economy and changing demands on America's ports and in river system infrastructure, there is a need to re-assess the suitability of the existing infrastructure relative to 21st century needs. This stakeholder listening session is designed to understand what commercial users of America's waterways see as the adequacy and inadequacies of the current infrastructure. With this information, the federal government can make more prudent investment decisions in infrastructure management and upgrades."
