One luminary clock against the sky

The image was also chosen because of how well it fits the text. The face of the clock is the only source of light in the photo, which I feel accentuates just how dar the night sky is. THe darkness is almost inescapable, which is how the speaker must feel. The only glimmer of hope is represented by the small source of light, which, at this point, is still extremely overpowered by the darkness.
