Fletcher Jennings 0-4-0T 'Baxter'
The Bluebell Railway is lending it's Fletcher Jennings 0-4-0T Captain Baxter. Built in 1877 for the use at the Betchworth quarry of the Dorking Greystone Lime Company, this engine worked alongside Coffee Pot No.1 until 1949, the pair finally parting in 1960 as they went their separate ways. It is therefore very exciting to bring them together again for this event.
Just one of the many exhibits that will be at the 2011 Great North Steam Fair which runs from the 14th-17th April. You can find out all the latest on the event and transport news updates at the Beamish Transport Blog.
