Nestle stop destroying rainforests say the people of Nottingham

The people in this photo have joined Greenpeaces campaign to stop Nestle destroying rainforest for palm oil and help protect endangered species like orang utans - so can you. Palm oil - one of the ingredients in products like KitKat - is devastating the rainforests of Indonesia as they're torn down to make room for huge oil palm plantations. In fact these rainforests are being destroyed faster than any other in the world largely due to the demand for palm oil, pushing threatened species to extinction. This destruction also releases massive amounts of greenhouse gases which are accelerating climate change. Nestle, the makers of KitKat need to clean up their act and stop buying from companies which are destroying the rainforest. make sure they see this photo by clicking 'send to a friend' and send it to Paul Bulcke, the CEO of Nestle at Paul.Bulcke@nestle.com then find out what else you can do at www.greenpeace.org.uk/kitkat
