Green Lake, Seattle
This park is very popular in Seattle. I just loved all the gentle spring colors here--it very much reminded me of springtime in New England.
The lake is a glacier carved lake. It is fed only by rainfall, storm runoff, and Seattle's municipal water supply (from Wikipedia) as the creek that used to feed it dried up when they lowered the water level to create more park land.
