1963 Ford Falcon Ranchero
Downsized to the compact Falcon for 1960, the Ranchero continued through 1961-1963 with modest running changes. A sedan delivery was added in 1961, with restyled grilles and taillights following in 1962 and 1963. 1963 models added softer and more durable polyurethane seat padding. Optional was the Deluxe package which for 1963 included bright trim moldings, arm rests, deluxe black or red steering wheel, cigarette lighter, dome light switch and either black or red vinyl upholstery.
Standard for 1963 was the 144 six (85 HP), with the 170 (101 HP) optional. The Ranchero had a factory delivered retail price at $1,898, 2,348 lb curb weight as delivered.
