Iha da Madeira - Portugal

 

This was my second day on Madeira Island. I had gotten a tip from a friend about a charming little village called Jardim do Mar. Headed straight there from the airport and this was what sunset looked like at the south end of the beach. I fancied this structure and how the strong waves came and went, leaving some foam every time they washed over the pier.

 

This was a nice afternoon and there was even some color in the sky. That's the magic of Madeira Island.
