Twin Peaks Restaurant

From Knox News:

A mountain lodge-style sports bar and restaurant is coming to Bearden.

Twin Peaks said it will open a location in the old T.G.I. Friday's space, at 135 Northshore Drive. According to a news release, the location should open in May.

With scantily clad waitresses and a logo that promises eats, drinks and "scenic views", Twin Peaks is traveling on the trail blazed by Hooter's, but broker Oliver Smith IV -- who listed the property -- rejected the comparison, saying Twin Peaks is "completely and utterly different."

"This goes for a much higher-end clientele," he said.

In a news release, Twin Peaks said the location will include more than 60 flat-screen TVs, focused on sports. "We build first-class restaurants and feel Knoxville is the perfect sports market for our brand," Coby Brooks, franchisee and owner of La Cima Restaurants LLC said in a news release.

Twin Peaks isn't the first company aiming to provide some competition in the local breastaurant category. In 2011, the Spice Rack Cantina called it quits after less than two years at a location near West Town Mall.

I was personally surprised and satisfied with my meal and the view/s!
