Snake repellent

Common names: Wild garlic; Wilde knoffel, Wildeknoflok (Afrikaans).

Botanical name: Tulbaghia violacea.

Family: Alliaceae.

Wild garlic is said to repel snakes. The flowers and stems also taste darn good in omelettes and salads :-)
