Eastern Meadowlark with Gallberry flowers

It isn't a trip to Kissimmee Prairie without an Eastern Meadowlark photo. And since this last visit was, for me, mainly about wildflowers and plants, it was kind of him to perch on flowering gallberry (Ilex glabra, also commonly called inkberry). This is a male gallberry plant -- it is dioecious (plants are either male of female). Also seen here is Muscadine grape vine (Vitis rotundifolia) and if you look carefully you can see beginnings of the grapes.

Thanks to any of you out there still looking, despite my continued lack of activity. Sorry to say, this probably won't change much for quite awhile.
