There’s a plastic bottle and soda can just sitting in the water here- a classic example of pollution. Trash like this can harm animals that live in or drink from the water, and plastics especially don’t break down easily. Pollution doesn’t just look bad- it puts a lot of species at risk, especially in freshwater habitats.
