It would have been nice…
It would have been nice to sail out into the harbour and beyond on board the Bluenose II. But, for some reason, which I don't remember, this was not available on that day. Anyway, it was great to be able to get onto the deck and take some pictures, but for the tour, we had to contend ourselves with another, non-iconic and smaller sailboat (see next photo). I did sail on the Bluenose II back in 1988 (16 years before these pictures) in Halifax while attending a conference there.
