Whilst on holidays at Paradise Valley near Apollo Bay, Victoria, Australia, this wild Kookaburra landed on the table where my three year old grandson had been painting and colouring-in. JP turned in shock and wide-eyed as he searched for his mother seeking reassurance and she (my daughter) rushed down from the veranda to survey the situation whilst the Kookaburra and JP sat motionless as they looked each other up and down. After about a minute the Kookaburra flew to a nearby tree branch where it posed for more photos -Sigma 70-300 mm
