Night from smith lab roof

My Astronomy class had a Star party at the end of the semester and we were invited to go to the roof of Smith Lab to use the telescope to see stars in the sky.

 

I took this picture because the campus looks different from up the roof, usually this area during the day is crowded and people hurrying to their class, but at night from six floors above, all seems quiet and peaceful.
