This is one of my final products during my first year of level 3 Art and Design. The materials used for this product is Acrylic Paint, Biro pen, Indian ink, and Watercolour. After research of different artists I realised I was fond of David Hockney as well. Hockney believed that life simple pleasures were often not adequately imitated in art; that in the rush of people existence they often failed to notice the simplicity and serenity of the world around them. In this piece I contrasted two completely divergent artists but I believe they have work well and efficiently together to produce a beautiful finished piece. Combined with Hockney’s, and Nash’s exclusive style of working, as well as mine included. I believe my piece worked efficiently together to make an Expressionistic, Impressionistic and engaging final outcome combined.
