First flight was June 30, 1978. Delivery date was July 12, 1978 to Pan Am. Delivered to United Airlines in February 1986 wearing FN 8547. Registered to United Airlines on July 7, 1992, with name "Friendship One". Set speed record SEA-ATH-TPE-SEA in January 29/30, 1988 - 23,125 miles & flightime of 36 hrs 54 mins. Stored for FAA at ACY (Atlantic City) on April 18, 2001 for fuel tank inerting tests.
