Trillium
The Thompson Wildlife Management Area in Virginia is now the closest place to see nesting Cerulean Warblers, who have become one of the poster species for the bird conservation movement. During early May when the warblers begin to arrive, the trilliums are in bloom, and a lot of people visit Thompson WMA to see both the birds and the flowers. The trillium is the symbol for the Province of Ontario, Canada.
