Mancombe Wood (Woodland Trust) is within a Special Landscape Area characterised by deep cut, hidden valleys. The wood is on the north side of the Mancombe Valley and is surrounded by a mixture of permanent pasture and woodland. At the bottom of the Mancombe Valley is a small stream.
