Esso - Norwich Motor Company, Norwich, Norfolk circa 1955
The Norwich Motor Company had a long association with Esso post war, in fact it may have been the only brand of petrol they ever sold before stopping selling fuel altogether. Of course pre-war they sold a variety of brands, see below, and although I don't know about back then, they certainly had competition from a BP site just down the road in the 1970s which you can also see below. That place is now a KwikFit.
Here it is I think the mid 1950s, maybe a little later and Esso has been established as the brand sold here. Whilst we don't see the garage itself, only a couple of signs, the overall scene is a nice one featuring a few lovely period cars. Here's roughly the same view in the present day.
