Morcote – Switzerland

This beautiful village on Lake Lugano was voted the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2016. It's no wonder, it's picturesquely situated on a mountainside and by a lake. The first historical mention was in 926. It is an old village, criss-crossed with beautiful, narrow alleys. If you are in the area, visit it. Even if it's for two hours. It's worth it.
