Alex Fraser Bridge

The Alex Fraser Bridge (also known as the Annacis Bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge that crosses the Fraser River in metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

When it opened in 1986, it was the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. It had that distinction until 2005.

The bridge links the municipalities of New Westminster and North Delta.

The bridge is 8,284 ft (2,525 m) long with a main span of 1,526 ft (465 m). The towers are 505 ft (154 m) tall.

The photo was taken from the Amtrak Cascades as I was travelling from Seattle to Vancouver.
