Bosintang
Yes it's true. Koreans eat dogs. And up until the moment I saw butchered dogs at the market, I was very keen on trying "bosintang" (kor. for envigourating soup) dog soup. It was hard to stay cool in front of showcases full of whole, half and bits of dog. Well, I guess its a cultural thing that made me lose my appetite and also the fact that apparently the dogs are hung or beaten to death in order to achieve an adrenaline rush that makes the meat tender.
