Family Playground
This picture would be presented during a short B-Roll on the part of the reporter. I believe this image gives the audience more insight into the emptiness and despair that Amy’s death has left behind. The playground belonged to Amy and was built by her father who worked painstakingly hard to construct a place where his daughter could be safe and happy. This image depicts also Amy’s innocence and youth and even without mentioning her age beforehand, one may easily presume she was a young child when she was killed. I would enact a voiceover to accompany this still photograph. “She was snatched away from her family in what seems like the blink of an eye. Her childhood has ended far too quickly, leaving behind only memories of her playtime in the backyard. Today, the playground constructed for her and her sisters stands empty and unused.”
