Parthian Rhyton (150 BC - AD 225), Iran

A drinking vessel with animal details ("rhyton"). In Iran, such vessels were most widely made during the Achaemenid Empire (550-330 BC), though the lifelike animal details as seen in this one date from the later Parthian Empire (247 BC - AD 224).
