創作自述

 

1980年台灣苗栗出生。自小即喜歡觀察動植物、嚮往樹林裡清新的空氣以及乘上奔騰的馬匹，相信真有白雪公主這樣能讓森林小動物集合在一塊，聽她喃喃、唱歌，peaceful的人與世界，是喜愛幻想的浪漫人種。直到大學才從事藝術創作的她，保留著未被馴服的野性，喜好以貼近大自然的方式在戶外進行藝術創作，並常與戶外的鳥類一起在作品中共舞。近來展開了忙碌的職場生活後，對於日復一日使用的文具再熟悉不過，她詫異這些從前看似簡單而未曾留意的日常用品竟然如此美麗，新的浪漫懷想挑動著，她開始著手收集瓶蓋、文具以及身邊朋友不需要的小物與玩具，這些用瓶蓋做成的小花園於是而生，目前尚在蔓延中。她心目中的藝術就如同大小不同的圓形，是一趟尋找人類和平世界中，良善與平心靜氣的信仰圓滿過程。

  

The artist’s self-narrative

 

Born in 1980 in Miaoli, Taiwan, I have loved observing animals and plants since I was a kid; I long for the fresh air in the forest and a ride on horses. I am a self-confessed romantic who believe a world in which people and nature live in harmony, and that people like Snow White, can sing and talk to animals in the deep forest.

 

I did not start creating art until I had entered university, and therefore, my creative energy is not tamed by theory and lectures in classrooms. Instead, I prefer creating art in an open space so that I can stay close to nature.

 

Recently, I have started working and I am drawn to the stationary that I use everyday; I am attracted to the beauty of the ordinary stationary which we often take for granted. The romantic spirit in me has woken; I started to collect bottle caps, stationary, little things and toys that my friends no longer need. Then, I used all these bottle caps to build my own miniature gardens, and they are still growing. The art for me is like all sorts of circles and round objects that come in different sizes; the pursuit of art is the pursuit of the round process of kindness, peace, harmony.
