For more than two decades, Mubashar Choudry, MD FACC, has tended to patients across the world as a renowned interventional cardiologist. A Diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as well asdiplomate of the American board of Cardiovascular Disease subspecialty, Dr. Choudry works as a teacher, a doctor, and a business executive. Currently, he holds affiliations with institutions such as Washington Adventist Hospital, Washington Cardiovascular Institute, and Georgetown University School of Medicine. Additionally, Mubashar Choudry, MD, serves as President of Advanced Cardiology Center, PA, a cardiovascular specialty group, and President of MedServe Foundation, a philanthropic group that assists developing countries with their healthcare needs.

Before starting his professional life, Mubashar Choudry, MD, graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. After commencing his clinical training in internal medicine at Services Hospital in Lahore, he moved to the United States and accepted a residency in general and cardiovascular surgery at Maimonides Medical Center New York. Subsequently, he joined Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York as an Internal Medicine Resident and as a Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Choudry concluded this period of his education with a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Winthrop University Hospital.

Over the past decade, Mubashar Choudry, MD, has earned accolades domestically and internationally. In 2001, President Bill Clinton appointed him to an advidory capacity to the the White House Commission on Drug-Free Communities. Four years later, Pervez Musharraf, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, bestowed upon Dr. Choudry the "Sitara-i-Imtiaz", one of the nation's greatest honors, for his services in education and training of physians in field of interventional cardiology in Pakistan.

Today, Mubashar Choudry, MD, primarily operates out of the Washington, DC, area. He is the Chief Medical Officer at Washington Cardiovascular Institute.
