My name is Rebecca Anderson, a young Latina college student who currently attends American River College. I have a double major, Photography and Business. I have many dreams and goals but none more interesting and important to me than my photos. Every day I drive around and see things that are beautiful and need to be captured in a photo that no one else seems to see. The old oak tree at the end of the street has so many words and so much experience, or even the old abandoned field that has the most beautiful lighting and looks miraculous as the wind blows through. Those are the photos I love capturing. I see the beauty of the world everywhere I go and plan on capturing the world through my lenses once I graduate from college. Shortly after traveling the world, I plan on opening a business producing a magazine about the country I get my heritage from, Puerto Rico. This is not just a hobby nor is it just a degree; this is my passion, my hopes and dreams, my life.
