Been taking photos since 1971 when I brought a second-hand Practika Nova5 followed by a LTL3 and various manual lenses. This was upgraded to an Olympus OM2n with various lenses and accessories on finishing my degree in 1982. My first experience of digital was back in 2003 when I won a day out at RAF Cosford thanks to Canon and I got to use a 20D and a 20mm lens. Then brought a Fuji 602 bridge camera which I loved. 2005 saw me purchase a Nikon D70 with 18-70 and I have been pouring money down a bottomless hole since. The D70 has been converted to infrared and I also have a D80, D7000 with nikon 16-85VR, 18-105VR, 70-200VR and a 40mm macro. There is also a Sigma 12-24EX and Sigma 150EX macro (brilliantly sharp). Also present is a Tamron 90mm macro and a 28-200mm Tamron plus a Samyang 8mm fisheye and and old manual focus Tamron 500mm mirror lens. My Canon G12 goes almost everywhere with me. One day I will get round to reading the many, many manuals I have and I will hopefully produce something I am pleased with. Went full frame with a D600 which lasted until the D750 was announced and in 2018 a D850 was added to the list. 2018 also saw the purchase of a Fuji X-T2 plus three lenses and a Sony RX100m4. I also added several full frame lenses three Godox flash guns and more tripods than you can shake a three legged stick at. My friends joke that I am a branch of WEX or at least own shares in the company.
