The icon is an Adinkra symbol from Ghana in West Africa. It is known as the Siamese Crocodiles. Siamese crocodiles share one stomach, yet they fight over food. This popular symbol is a reminder that infighting and tribalism is harmful to all whom engage in it. www.welltempered.net/adinkra/htmls/adinkra/sank.htm
For me, the two heads mean that we are individuals and unique while we think and "feed" independently sharing one stomach (representing that we have commonality, one race of people - homo sapiens; and we all live in the same house - our planet). To fight is futile; as when we harm each other, we harm ourselves / our planet.
