A great deal of my life has been spent walking, mountaineering, trekking and photography on the move. Now retired with supposedly more time so photography, wildlife and conservation have become major interests.
A member of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), the National Trust (NT), Butterfly Conservation (BC), Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) and Wildlife Trust for Dorset - it costs a fortune so I don't try to think about it.
In recent years we (husband and I) have taken to making a book at the end of our adventure trips to show friends and family.

Cancer struck me just after COVID started to quieten down (Aug 2021) so my photography is still a little restricted at the moment, eg, if I go low to take a macro shot, sometimes I stay there & then Richard has to haul me back up. I prefer the insects that stay at eye level at the moment (July 2023).πππ

Hi Ann Congratulations on your wonderful work which makes us travel in the nature of the world. I would like to salute here your incredible kindness and the good person that you are Thank you Ann and Richard for your sharing
Beautiful nature photos that you have there. The moment captured at the right time.
Ann & Richard are a couple who are widely respected as wonderful photographers and genuinely lovely people. It's always a pleasure to view their latest work. Being a couple of globetrotters they have catalogued some amazing places around the world and always inspire others with amazing photos.
I have never met Ann & Richard in person, but have found them to be very generous with there knowledge and positive when giving feedback. Sometimes in life by sheer chance you get to meet wonderful people, in person or other ways, Ann & Richard are two of these people.
