Eruption is South Florida’s original, alternative ‘80s cover band. Eighties music is really enjoying a comeback... And no one does the '80s like Eruption! The band lived it and played it “back in the day.”

Eruption has an interesting, “only-in-Miami” history… In the ‘80s, Eruption was a staple at all the local, high school dances and house parties. Twenty years later, the guys (the same original four members) re-grouped at the request of a local high school reunion committee. When the band reunited, something just “clicked.” Audiences went wild to hear them again, sounding better than ever and playing all those MTV hits from the 80’s that made that era of music so memorable.

There's a renewed enthusiasm over great ‘80s music. And Eruption is all about the music: we do our best to honor the songs and the original artists by recreating the sound and feel of the music the way it’s meant to be played and heard live. The music has held its own over the years.
