Solo piano recording artist, Louis Landon has dedicated his life to music. There's no doubt about it, his passion is for peace. His career has taken him around the world playing a variety of styles with some of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry. He's been on stage before hundreds of thousands of people alongside James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Carly Simon, Bruce Springsteen and many others using music as the vehicle to protest nuclear energy in the No Nukes Concerts of 1979.
His activism is alive and well at a time when the world is at war over oil and various interpretations of what constitutes a quality life no matter where we live in this world. There isn't just one answer. Each of us is entitled to define what a quality peaceful life means to us. These days Landon's sole mission and message is for peace. He says, "War is not an answer to the multitude of problems we as Americans face, nor the millions and millions of people who share this planet with us. Now more than ever we need to get along with everyone around the world. Everything is negotiable."
Not long ago, Landon realized that his music - the solo piano compositions that bring him so much joy and peace could surely bring joy and particularly peace to millions around the world who struggle to cope as unwitting witnesses of unnecessary destruction.
