I studied packaging graphic design from Humber College in Toronto.

For several years, I worked as a full time graphic designer.

When my two kids were born, I decided to stay home for them.

Although I am still working as a freelance graphic designer, I’ve always wanted to a have a rewarding career of my own.

I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea.

My mom had a little boutique in Seoul, and my father was a sweater factory owner. I was raised in an environment where threads and needles are flying all over the places.

My mom used to makes me everything from toys to my own dresses, and I remember I was busy showing off the things my mom made for me to my friends and relatives. (it’s really funny when I notice my kids are doing the same thing now.)

I think my first sewing started when I was about 7. I started to make little things like hair pins and my own Barbie doll dresses.

As I was becoming a teenager, I started to alter and make my own clothing. (I had my mom as a great mentor).

I lost my mom in year 2000, she passed away with a brain aneurism by the age of 45.

I’m doing all this in memories of her. -----
