Surfer, surfboard shaper who loves being on or near the sea. I love to travel and have spent alot of time in Asia. I have travelled throughout Indonesia including Bali and also lived in Thailand.

Currently back in the UK, I like being outdoors, preferably in the summertime when the days are longer. I enjoy walking around the Rame peninsular, taking in a spot of spinning for mackeral or doing the same anywhere on the north coast of Cornwall. Being introduced to flickr and discovering HDR has rekindled my interest in photography.

Before digital I used an Olympus OM10 with a variety of lenses and developed my own B&W prints. I see there are people on flickr who are still dedicated to the ol' negative. I certainly feel no need to revert back to messing around with chemicals and paper in a darkroom.

I currently use one digital camera, an Olympus x785. This has 7. 1 megapixels and x3 zoom. I love the fact it fits in my pocket and I no longer have a bag of lenses to haul around. Of course it has it's restrictions which makes it more of a challenge to use. I particularly miss using a 28mm lens which makes me think I'll buy one of those Panasonic Lumix' next.
